God Particle: New Cloverfield Movie Release Date, Cast, and More News
J.J. Abrams may be building a shared Cloverfield universe right before our eyes, but the mysterious third movie is a moving target.
The film is directed by Julius Onah (The Girl is in Trouble) from a script by Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street, Shimmer Lake) and Doug Jung (Star Trek Beyond). It also stars David Oyelowo (Selma), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle), Ziyi Zhang (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon), Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Daniel Brühl (Inglourious Basterds), and Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids).
God Particle was scheduled to drop on Feb. 2, 2018, but Deadline reports that it has been pushed back to an April 20, 2018 release date — marking the third time the film’s premiere has changed.
SYNOPSIS OF God Particle
The February date started to become questionable in recent weeks, with no trailer and no marketing showing up a month before release. However, 10 Cloverfield Lane also came out of nowhere, but the studio opted to make the push to April.
